I’m a writer with a passion for words. My blog is a place where I share my family, my interests and mostly my heart.

I am a mom to four amazing girls two now young adults and one a teenager.  I am also a foster mother to one cheeky young man with special needs. We have also just adopted a new little man to our family and I am remembering the joys of having a baby in the home and also how much I love sleep.

My blog is my journey through the chaos of my life. I travel down the road of the loss of a child, grief and pain. Whilst learning the value of making every day count and to cherish each and every moment.

The last few years have seen me walk a pathway of self discovery, learning to finally love the body I have curves and all. It’s been an amazing journey which has let me to a new found love of clothes and a fantastic experience of walking the catwalk for plus size brands at two major plus size events.

I’m also super excited to be back into the world of toddlers ,thanks to the gift of adoption and I’m embracing and loving the wide range of children’s fashion there is about and celebrating all the joys of toddlerhood with a rather large twist of complex care needs.
I’m an avid reader, lover of country music and slightly addicted to make-up.

As a family we enjoy days out, exploring new places on holiday and generally making every moment matter.

As well as my writing here on my blog I have written for ,numerous disability charities and fostering publications. I have also written for online and print magazines.

I am a public speaker for both disability awareness and fostering events, also speaking in a motivation capacity about living life to the full.
