I haven’t done a fashion post for a while, not because  I have lost my love of fashion but just crazily busy  with family life. My wardrobe choices have become more about what’s clean rather than what’s in style.

Saying all this I still love browsing the new spring styles that are hitting my email. So i have decided to share with you some of my favourites.

This I love Simply Be Skull Print Rock Tee, this is just my style.

I would match this with these Chloe Distressed skinny jeans again from Simply Be.

To complete this outfit I would have to add these beautiful sandals from Evans .

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christmas style for the family.

Like most people, I find that around this time of year I really have to watch my budget.

My bank account looks a little empty after purchasing our Christmas gifts and food. Yet this doesn’t stop me from wanting to wear something new and special for the season.

This is why I love the George range at Asda, they offer stylish outfits for a reasonable price, they also cater for all the family. One stop shopping my idea of heaven.

Here are some of my favourites…..

 

I love this Embellished Jumpsuit and at only £20 its simply wow, perfect for nights out, Christmas lunch and so much more.

My second choice is  this Embellished beaded dress it’s just stunning at £40 this is the most expensive of my choices but I could see me wearing this many times and certainly getting my money’s worth.

My third choice is for my daughter, I’m sure she would love this Stolen Heart Floral Lace Skater dress, I could just see her wearing this with her converse.

George Asda also do an fantastic range for men and if I was dressing my hubby this Christmas it would be in this Tailor & Cutter Shirt and Tie set. I just adore the colour of this set, perfect for Christmas and any special occasion after. It would also be a great gift for the business man in your life.

This outfit would be the perfect mix between smart and casual which my husband would love.

 

Last but not least I would dress my foster son in this shirt and tie set paired with some tapered jeans.

Christmas party fashion wishlist

So it is that time of year again when we all start getting excited about the party season. The biggest question always being what shall we drink  wear.

I’ve been having a browse at the season’s fashions and here are my picks for my Christmas party fashion.

It is said you cannot go wrong with a little black dress and my first choice is simply that, a beautiful lace panel dress from Evans. Perfect to glam up for an evening event but also ideal for Christmas day itself.

My second choice again is a black dress but not so little its a stunning Sheer hem maxi from Simply Be. I am in love with this dress. It calls out to my gothic heart.

My 3rd and 4th choice’s aren’t dresses but two tops that I would probably wear with my black  jeans, this is my perfect type of party wear.

This super cute black sequin vest from Evans is just the perfect amount of sparkle.

Also this Live unlimited black sequin top again from Evans. I am seriously impressed with this range but this is my favourite.

So as you can see my favourite colour may just be black.

My weekly plus size fashion wishlist

The new autumn fashion are hiting the stores and I am so excited.

I am also rather shocked at what styles have been catching my eye.

Is my style changing?

Who knows anyway here is my fashion wishlist.

My first want (need) is this beautiful dress from Voodoo Vixen.

The Joni is simply beautiful.

My second choice is a coat, now coats and I don’t have a great relantionship. My long arms seem to leave many coats ill fitting, but this one from ASOS really caught my eye. The style is a vintage style with a modern twist, I love it.

My third choice comes from the new Martine McCutcheon from Fashion World, to be fair I could have chosen anything from this range as I absolutely love it all but this dress is just pure perfection.

My last but not least choice for this week are these adorable boots from Evans, they are so very cute, I think they would be perfect with my new found love of dresses.

Weekend wish list

I haven’t done a wish list in a while but with the new autumn fashion hitting the stores I am simply spoiled for choice. 

Here are a few of my favourites.

First off is this Longer Length Utility Shirt from Simply Be. This is bang on trend with the military style which everywhere this season. I just think it’s classy and I so love this gorgeous slate blue. 

  

Secondly I love these ripped jeans from Evans.  I am a great believer that you can never have enough pairs of ripped jeans and I would love to add these to my wardrobe. 
  
Third on my list is a dress a little out of my comfort zone but after checking out the Lindy Bop range on the suggestion of a friend I just fell in love with the Colleen isn’t she beautiful?

  
Finally I have been on the search for a pair of cute comfortable shoes. I think I have found them in the Michelle by Hotter shoes. I suffer with a lot of pain from my joints but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to wear cute shoes. These seem the best of both worlds as they come in a wide fit, woo hoo. They are seriously cute.

Weekly wish list

Its that time again when I let you know my fashion wants and what has caught my eye in the plus size fashion world.

First off I’m still on the search for another swimsuit. Swimming a few times per week means I need another suit to add to my collection.

This gorgeous retro swimsuit from Simply Be is perfect and ideal match between fashion and strength. I need something with extra strength in the chest area, I will say no more ha ha.

My 2nd and 3rd choices are from New Look.  I’m in desperate need of some casual every day clothes. I seem to be ruining some of  my tops getting them covered with snot and all those wonderful bodily juices that my foster son loves to share with me.

I combined these Inspire Ripped Skinny Jeans with a Grey Peace and love T-shirt.  I love this set funky and casual all rolled into one.

To finish this weeks list is these beautiful handmade Confetti Lucite Earrings from the fantastic etsy store Desperate Beatnik. Serious go check this store out as Olivia makes some amazing jewellery.

The colour of these just really caught my eye.

My Mothers Day Wish List.

So this coming Sunday is Mother’s day here in the UK and the shops are simply full of many wonderful things.

So this week’s wish list is based on this special day.

Medium Anatomical Skull Ring

First off I absolutely love this Anatomical skull ring from the awesome

The Great Frog London. I already have a ring from this company and the style and quality is amazing.

 

Second on my list is this beautiful Suede Hobo Bag from Simply Be. The colour of this is just so stunning and perfect for spring.

Third is this beautiful dress from Voodoo Vixen,  Emmie is modelled by my beautiful friend Sarah who looks stunning as always. Though to be honest I love most of the range.

Fourth on my list is a print subscription for the amazing Slink Magazine, I love this plus size fashion magazine and the quality of its content.

Fifth and final on my list is this pretty outdoor planter from Next. Spring colours to brightened the day.

Lets be honest, I’m not expecting any of these for Mother’s Day and that fine as I have the best gift of all and that is simply my beautiful children.

Now if only heaven had a postal service.

Ok a really bad play on words but I thought it was rather apt as my fashion picks this week are mainly tops.

My first choice is this beautiful top from Elvi fashion , this brand first came to my attention at Plus North this year and I’m loving a lot of the range they have available.

This top is in one of my favourite colours and  I can imagine myself wearing this top on Christmas day and out at drinks with friends.

It is simply stunning.

My second choice this week is this beautiful blouse from Asos curve.

My life involves meetings, conferences and training events  and i can imagine this blouse being perfect for all of these.

Yet I can also imagine with a nice handbag and a pair of heels I could dress this up for a meal out with the hubby or drinks with friends.

My person style involves a lot of blouses and jeans, smart and casual. This top would be a great addition to my wardrobe.

My third choice is this gorgeous Waterfall Jacket from Yours Clothing.

I’m not a great lover of coats as I am rather hot blooded and find most coats restrictive and bulky so this jacket is perfect for me to throw over and to keep the chills at bay.

Last and but not least i move away from tops and enter into my addiction for awesome boots.
